The House of Edrisis , a novel by Ghazaleh Alizadeh translated by Rosa Jamali
In the house of Edrisis life was going on; the engraved wall clock with the covered pinnacle of birds and flowers, a piece of work by the carpenters of Bokhara, struck 10.

To me , he was the most prominent figure in Iranian contemporary poetry, I learned a lot from him and I always assume his last collection as a panorama to the avant garde movement in Persian contemporary poetry , the halo of a great poet was with him ,the wealth of imagery, oriental themes , eastern flavour and his poetry was really rich in thoughts and expression

Making Coffee To Run A Crime Story
O' the sorrow of your short breath
The cracks have been veined underground
It's broken like a porclain dish

A vein is risen from my right atrium
I've played the last card
It's a straight line running on the rips of my cheeks
And It's a grave I've dug on my own

!This dizzy sky
The moon's been cleared
A shadow's coming after me
Barefooted on my dreams
!You used to run

Rosa Jamali's Interview with Iranian Daily Paper : IRAN NEWS
Many of my poems break the grammar and focus on the music of words and word play mingled with a tincture of latent satire and the relation between objects in an abstract world in which objects gradually lose their meanings and becomes symbols for satire. I am interested in lively portrayal of objects which we are in daily contact instead of the repeated and boring nightingale and rose themes. To give flight to imagination and to broaden a subject is an important preoccupation for me and such elaboration comes from our modern life and the objects with which we are in contact and which awaken our poetic sensibilities
